He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Francis and Thelma Louise Stewart (Kyle). He is survived by: his wife Diane Stewart of Effingham, IL; and his children, Kristine Anne Smith (Mark), Marti Sue Quinones (Jim) of Canton, IL and John William Stewart (Kristi Hamrick) of Paris, IL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Krabel Funeral Home & Cremation Service - Oakland (215 E Main St, Oakland, IL 61943). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
