We announce the death of Walker Warden (Effingham, Illinois), who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 5. Walker will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Walker will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Walker will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Walker’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jacob Warden and Abby Warden; his aunt Adaire; and his siblings, Gabrielle, Wesley, Wiley and Meredith.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Christ's Church (2511 S Veterans Dr, Effingham, IL 62401). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Walker's memory to Christ's Church DTI Program in Effingham, Illinois, a tribute to the faith and community that supported them throughout Walker's journey.
