With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Wanda M. Morgan Buzzard of Effingham, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar "Cotton" Smith and Alice Smith (Bishop); her husbands, Paul W. Buzzard and David Morgan; her son-in-law Paul Kessler; her brother James Smith; and her brother-in-law Gene Mayhood.
She is survived by: her children, Marsha Kessler and Mike Buzzard (Diane); her grandchildren, Jeff Berkbigler (Sara), John Berkbigler (Rachel), Angela LeCrone (Darin), Paul J. Buzzard (Kim) and Keith Buzzard (Kelly); and her siblings, Jeannie Mayhood and Ed Smith (Nancy). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
