He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl L. Miller and Sena A. Rippel Miller; his grandson Jake; and his sister Dorothy Franke. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Miller of Mark's Lutheran Church; his children, Ed Miller (Deb) of El Paso, IL and Angela Anderson (Bruce) of Orion, IL; his grandchildren, Lauren Scott (Charles) of San Diego, CA, Curtis Anderson (Jessica) of Osco, IL, Joshua Anderson of Orion and Molly Anderson of Osco; and his great grandchild Sadie Jane Scott.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home - El Paso (40 W Main St, El Paso, IL 61738). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (533 W 3rd St, El Paso, IL 61738).
