It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Sparrow of El Paso, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon McMurray and Edith Witt McMurray; her spouse Essel "Bill" Merle Sparrow; and her son Cory Sparrow. She is survived by: her children, Joni Donaldson of Pekin, Mick Longwell, Les Sparrow of Bloomington, Joe Sparrow of El Paso and Steve Sparrow (Allison) of Bloomington; her siblings, Lee McMurray of Lexington and Lois Hall of Wisconsin; and her daughter Edith. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.
