She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Schindel and Rita Schindel; her sons, Brad and Gary; her sisters, Marion Todd and Kathy Williams; and her pet Pepper.

She is survived by: her husband Edward; her pet Louie; her son Mark (Sandy); her grandchildren, Leslie Kipper (Dan), Erin Lorange (Danny), Melissa White (Aaron), Andrea Bilskey (Jeremy), Matt, Robert, Adam, Sarah, Emily, Abby, Daniel and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Sophia Parisi, Jarad Kipper, Sydney, Taylor, Skylar White and Jackson Bilskey; her siblings, Rita Smith, Edmund Schindel (Emma), Robert Schindel (Fran), Richard Schindel (Susan) and Linda Moore; and her daughter-in-law Ruth. She is also survived by Grams and Jay (Kristi) Grams.

Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, IL.In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be sent in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Illinois Chapter, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631.
