She was predeceased by : her parents, Theodore Smith and Nora Smith; her sister Helen Messelling; her brother-in-law Gary Rowe; and her son-in-law Kerry Dees.

She is survived by : her husband Alan Guthke; her children, Jerry Guthke (Terry Zimmerman) and Taria Dees; her grandchildren, Trevor Guthke (Amy), Emily Schnurstein (Carl), Michael Guthke, Melinda Guthke, Ryan Hessler (Stacey), Ashley Lysenko (Rosty), Lindsey Dieter (Nic Jordan), Justin Dees (Shaunra Orr), Ben Dees (Shante), Maddy and Chuck Zimmerman; and her great grandchildren, Anabelle, Harper, Leif, Leto, Remi, Gavin, Mason, Rosty, Preston, Lucas and Sean.
