He is survived by: his children, Gene Capes II (Carrie) of Maple Park, IL, Geoff Capes (Jonathan Saw) of New York, NY, Geordan Capes (Tim England) of Chicago, IL and Jenn Rosati (Chris) of Elburn, IL; and his grandchildren, Riley Capes (Meghan), Max Capes, Grace Rosati, Rocco Rosati and Sophia Rosati.
