He is survived by: his children, Dan Weiland (Karen), Laura Larson (Billy), Brenda Barsic and Valerie Boughton; his grandchildren, Craig Weiland (Vanessa), Matthew Weiland, Michelle Novak (Ryan), Kaitlyn Barsic, Kaley Barsic, Drake Boughton, Siara Boughton, Logan Boughton and Rylen Boughton; his great grandchildren, Sydney Novak, Kevin Novak, Tenley Weiland and Walter Crabtree; and his siblings, Jim Weiland, Lenny Weiland (Judy) and Arlene Pattermann.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elburn Lions Park (500 Filmore St, Elburn, IL 60119).
