The memory of Maxine K Herra of Elburn, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2026 at the age of 78, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Schroeder and Eleanor Schroeder; her husband Larry "Bucky" Herra; and her siblings, Bill, Fritz Schroeder, Lynn Johnson and Barb Sandquist.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Jahns (Jay), Kevin Herra (Jenny Lewin) and Jeff Herra (Dana); her grandchildren, Allison Henry (Gabe), Katie Jahns, Eric Jahns, Elijah Herra and Dylan Herra; and her sister Diane Wallace (Larry). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a family of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conley Funeral Home (116 W Pierce St, Elburn, IL 60119).
