Wayne Wilson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Wayne Wilson of Elburn, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Verl and Emma LaVern Wilson; and his sisters, Marjorie Sewell and June Tomasello. He is survived by: his wife Lois Jean; his daughters, Michelle Johnson (David) and Jacquelyn Casper; his grandchildren, Michael Johnson (Beth), Sarah Levand (James), Zachary Byler and Travis Byler; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Ollin Byler and Lily Rose Levand.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horner-Merritt Funeral Home (800 Monroe St, Mendota, IL 61342). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at 201 Locust St, Sublette, IL 61367.
