He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Forest Overley and Byrl Overley; his children, Greg Overley and Anne Schaff (Tom); his grandsons, Calvin, Tommy and Andrew Schaff; his sister-in-law Cathy Overley; his wife Susan Overley; and his brother Riley. He was also cherished by several cousins and family friends.
