He was predeceased by: his parents, H. T. Hopkins (Tom) and Betty Jane Hopkins (Thompson); his wife Elizabeth Ann Vaughn; his brother Dale Hopkins; and his sister-in-law Rachael Hopkins.
He is survived by: his sons, Alan Duer (Eva) of Eldorado, Clint of Eldorado and Jesse Hopkins of Eldorado; his grandchildren, Elizabeth and Noah Duer; and his brother Jim Hopkins of Eldorado. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
