He is survived by: his wife Vicki Dearing of Eldorado; his sons, Matthew Mitchell (Susan) of Galatia and Marcus Mitchell (Patti) of Carrier Mills; his grandchildren, Jordan Mitchell (Jessica), Dylan Mitchell, Colton Mitchell, Gabe Mitchell, Allison, Mitchell and Katlyn Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Hadley and Easton Mitchell.
