With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Mahoney of Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on May 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Lawrence Mahoney; his son Gerald Mahoney; and his brothers, Chuck Mahoney and Larry Mahoney. He is survived by : his sons, Scott Mahoney (Pam) of Eldorado and John Michael Mahoney (Stephanie) of Eldorado; his grandchildren, Maggie Mahoney (Aaron), Aly Griffin (Luke), Gannon Mahoney (Abby), Brookelyn Mahoney (Shawn), Amber Empson (Kenny) and Krystal Miles (Corey); his great grandchildren, Zoey, Westyn, Houstyn and Weston; and his brothers, Bob Mahoney (Vurbel) of Owensboro, KY and Leo Mahoney (Barb) of Eldorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
