We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2026, at the age of 83, Sarah Cummins of Eldorado, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Mae Mitchell (Horton) and Barney Pilkington; her husband James Harvey Cummins; her close friend Richard Hoover; and her siblings, Franklin, Robert Pilkington and Louise Gibbons.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charlie Pilkington (Janet) of Beech Bluff, Earl Eugene Pilkington (Karen) and JoAnn Rice (Robert) of Eldorado; her nieces and nephews, Don "Bub" Bean (Vicki), Michelle Drone (Phillip), Scott Pilkington, Shawn Pilkington (Kimberly), Leslie Powell (Russell), Brian Pilkington (Linda), Daniel Pilkington (Maria), Jason Futch (Jennifer) and Tracy Futch; and her close friend Stephanie Hoover.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Funeral Home (1517 Locust St, Eldorado, IL 62930). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Little Paws Animal Rescue.
