It is with sadness that the passing of Barbara Ann Hector (Elgin, Illinois) is shared. Barbara Ann, born on January 2, 1938 in Westlake, Louisiana, passed away on July 31, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorraine Cole and Earl Hartman Sr.; her husband Manuel Hector Sr.; her son Randy Hector; her grandson Jylan Hector; her great grandchild Da'Vari Hector; her son-in-law Pedro Burns; and her siblings, Earl "June" Hartman Jr., Howard Hartman and Patsy Hartman.
She is survived by: her sister Dorothy "Dot" Felix; her children, Kathy Williams (Alan) of New Iberia, Louisiana, Manuel Hector Jr. of Vacaville, California, Nedra Faye Hector of Elgin, Illinois., Katira Hector of Elgin, Illinois., Margo Davidson (John) of Elgin, Illinois. and Dionne Hector (Myko) of Elgin, Illinois.; and her grandchildren, Taniqua Williams, Jamal Hector (Cheryl), Juli Watson, Jennifer Hector, Melissa White (Darrell), Jerrod Hector, John Davidson Jr., DeLise Davis (Keith), Jamarica Giles (Justin), Jordan Davidson and Ember Dieckhaus (Steve). She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
