He was predeceased by: his father Bernard "Bernie" Idstein; and his brother Barry. He is survived by: his mother Judy Idstein (Culver); his children, Matthew Brian (Natalie) and Melissa Sue (Matthew); his wife Tammie Milam; his grandchildren, Jordan, Lucas, Sofia and Nico; his pet Tucker; and his brother Robert "Bob" (Barb).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home - Elgin (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123).
