She was predeceased by: her parents, Tomás Almanza and Enedina Almanza (Portales); her son Daniel Martinez; her siblings, Irma Alicia Moreno, José Luis Almanza, Juana Estela Gonzalez and Rosa Emiliano; her son Paola Ramirez Rodriguez (Maria Estrada Almanza); her brother Lázaro Estrada Almanza; and her pets, Tiger and Cha-Cha.
She is survived by: her husband Juan Luna of Rochelle; her sons, Juan Martinez of Rochelle, Guillermo Martinez of Rochelle and Edward Martinez of Sunnyvale, CA; her siblings, Maria Isabel Almanza, San Juana Almanza (Lázaro Estrada) of Elgin, Beatriz Contreras of Rochelle and Tomás Almanza of Streamwood; and her pets, Wolfie, Smokey, Big Boy, Casper, Pinto and Blanca.
Memorials may be made in Bruna's memory to the Ballet Folklórico group at Rochelle Township High School, as she had always supported her nieces' participation in continuing this beautiful cultural tradition.
