He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Irwin (Jeff) and Charles Karsten (Sally); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Irwin (Gina), Natasha Irwin (Jose), Mikayla Karsten and Brittany Hill; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Irwin, Mia Irwin, Andrea Irwin, Mason Irwin, Audrena and Amina.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Anderson's Animal Shelter, honoring Chuck's lifelong love for animals.
