He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Peterson Sr. and Ocie B. Peterson; his son Tyler; and his former wife Esperanza. He is survived by: his girlfriend Karen Ponce; and his children, Charlie Peterson III, Joseph Peterson, Consuella Peterson, Aristotle Peterson, Christopher Peterson, Agnes Peterson-Read, Arian Peterson, Trina Haugh and Sondra Krahel.
In honor of Charlie's generous spirit, the family kindly request that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research hospital, whose mission to save children's lives resonated deeply with him.
