Dalton left this world on May 29, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lee Simmons and Vera Mae Oliver Rodgers. He is survived by: his sister Martha Jackson of Owensboro, KY; his children, Marcia Loggins (Billy) of McDonough, GA, Danny Eugene Simmons of Byron, GA, Edie Gonzalez of Warner Robins, GA, Marie Graves (Scott) of Byron, GA, Arthur Simmons of Texas, Shawn Ring (Jessy) of Toomsboro, GA and Ricky Simmons (Rosemary) of Idaho; and his niece Laura Diane Ferguson. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
