David J. Nelson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David J. Nelson (Elgin, Illinois), who passed away on December 22, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. H. and Evelyn Nelson (Langerstrom); his sister Carole Jean Nelson Core; and his brother-in-law Maurice Core. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Nelson; and his nieces, Cindy Rowley and Sharon Atkins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Elgin History Museum for the Nancy Kimball House Restoration Project, the Elgin Symphony Orchestra, or the charity of your choice.
