He is survived by: his parents, Theodore Rood and Sandra Rood; his sons, Jim Pagor and Brian Rood (Jolen); his grandchildren, Caden and Lucas; his daughter Julia Ruth (Jerry); his granddaughters, Nora and Emma; his sister Jennifer Rood Fox (Nick); his niece Danielle Schmitz; his great-niece Lilly; and his great-nephew Jake. He is also survived by many cousins, countless friends.
