He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bilen and Ann Bilen (Balu); and his daughter Wendy Anne Bilen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bilen; his son Matt Bilen (Danielle); and his grandchildren, Zach (Beth), Zeke (Kiley) of Chicago, IL, Zion of Pingree, Briannah and Bianca.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1735 W Highland Ave, Elgin, IL 60123). During Covid, his friends got together & they would have outside concerts in his community.
