He is survived by: his wife Alice; his children, Gregory Bird (Kimberly) and Denise Bird; his grandchildren, Alissa Bird, Tressa Matuszewski (Daniel), Natalia Kuefler (Josh), Donavan Bird and Cassidy Teeple (Colson); his great grandchildren, Ashari, Josh, Liberty Bird, Hendrix and Harlan Matuszewski; and his siblings, Earl Bird (Sally) and Betty Jo Bishop.
