He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Zommer and Dorothy Zommer; his wife Donna; his children, Kim Miller, Ken Zommer (Amy), Geoff Zommer and Tracey Zommer; his stepdaughters, Denise Riesen and Laura McCarthy (Michael); and his grandchildren, Dan Miller, Josh Miller (Marie), Bethany Benham, Gabrielle Zommer, Isabelle Zommer, Tony Zommer (Sara), Alex Zommer (Rachel), Shannon Minson (Jeremy), Ryan McCarthy (Ruth) and Dan McCarthy (Rita). He was also cherished by 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Midwestern Amputee Golf Association, or to the Alzheimer's Association.
