We are sad to announce that, on March 19, 2026, at the age of 90, Edward Landers of Elgin, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward Landers to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Read Landers and Genevieve "Geneva" Landers; and his sister Janet Louks. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Laura Gassel (Gary), Christina Coleman (Eric) and Margaret Landers; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Aidan, Cooper and Sarah Lee Unseth (Christopher). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ed's name to the Jeffrey Pride Foundation for Pediatric Cancer Research or to Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church.
