It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen M. Clifford of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on December 3, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen M. Clifford to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward A. Leveille II and Gertrude Leveille; and her brother Patrick Leveille. She is survived by: her husband Guy A. Clifford; her children, Holly Clifford (Brooks Bahnsen) and Nicholas Clifford; her siblings, Bert Leveille (Roger Dahlstrom), Patricia Leveille, Edward A. Leveille III (Linda), Lucy Galpin and Joseph Leveille; her parents-in-law, Gordon and Linda Clifford; her brothers-in-law, Tom Galpin and Duane Clifford (Debbie); and her godchildren, Victoria Hathaway and Michael Leveille. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (134 Arthur St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Ellen's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
