With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Valdivia of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on January 16, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Servin and Paul Servin; her husband Marshall Valdivia; her son Andrew Kit; and her grandson Patrick McHale.

She is survived by: her children, Pauline Brownell of Chicago, Marsha Kapchinski (Martin) of Elgin, Penny Wehle (James) of Elgin, Randall Valdivia (Cathy) of Elgin, Terry Valdivia (Annette) of Grand Marais, MN and Thomas Valdivia (Diana) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Faith McHale, Jennifer Copher, Bernadette Lauff, Matthew Wehle, Jacqueline Smith, Randall Wolfgang Valdivia and Trisha Morgan; and her sisters, Emma Garcia, Lola Alvarado and El Paso of Texas. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and god children.
