He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Chartrand (Wilkinson) and Jerome Chartrand; and his siblings, Louise Walker, Jackie Dekelaita, Christine Bowen, Tom Chartrand, Steven Chartrand and Eugene Chartrand.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Chartrand (Julie), Paul Chartrand (Claudia), Mike Chartrand, Julie Cihlar (Steve) and Janice Howell (Chartrand); his grandchildren, Shaun Chartrand, Michael Chartrand, Ryan Chartrand (Amanda), Nathan Chartrand (Amanda), Stephanie Mullen (Mike), Loren Lee (Kenny) and Jordan Howell; and his siblings, Doug Chartrand, Daniel Chartrand (Sheila), Rosemary Burns (Jerry) and Darlene Boggs (Pat).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Yurs Funeral Home (1771 W State St, Geneva, IL 60134). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Patrick Downtown Church (400 Cedar St, St. Charles, IL 60174).
