He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Covey and Mame Covey; his siblings, Patsy, Melinda, Julia, Mary Lynn, Ben and George; and his son Christopher.
He is survived by: his wife Joy; his son Robert (Krista); and his grandchildren, Kayla and Kelsey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
