He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Hubert and Fern (Nidey); his wife Eleanor Paula (Russ) of Stephen's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Frances Winship (Harry), Forrest (Beverly), Thelma Jones (Leland), Richard (Lois), Gerald "Charlie" (Ruth) and Robert (Connie).
He is survived by: his sons, Thomas (Dana) and Kevin (Cindy); his grandchildren, Matthew Thomas, Caitlyn Moran (Matthew) and Joshua Thomas; his great grandchild Charlotte May Moran; and his sisters, Shirley Davenport and Karen Sue Ripperger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calvert and Martin Funeral Home (413 N Main St, Pontiac, IL 61764). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (119 E Howard St, Pontiac, IL 61764).
Memorials in Hubert's memory may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or to Livingston County Retired Teachers Association.
