With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Shales of Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on April 29, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy B. Shales and Nora Marie Shales; his brothers, Anthony "Tony" and Joseph "Joe" Shales; and his brother-in-law Ed Rushka.
He is survived by: his children, John Shales (Anne) and Jamie; his grandsons, Dominick and Travis; his siblings, Sue Rushka (late Ed) and Leo Shales; and his niece Mary Ann (Paul Schroeder).
