With sadness, we share the passing of Jerome L. Springborn of Elgin, Illinois. Jerome, born on March 16, 1948 in Aurora, Illinois, passed away on October 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Springborn and Sheila Springborn; and his siblings, Roger Springborn (Karin) and Connie Springborn (Fred Radakovitz). He is survived by: his spouse Gail L. Springborn; his children, Doug Springborn (Angie) and Julie Claprood (Scott); his grandchildren, Abby, Brynn, Logan and Hunter; and his siblings, Tom Springborn (Peg), Howard Springborn (Debby), Cathy Murr (John), Jon Springborn (Sue), Kay Drafke (Ed), Bob Springborn (Jenny) and Carol Mersman (Jon Simpson).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services (44 S Mill St, Naperville, IL 60540).
