The memory of Joan K. Berna of Elgin, Illinois, born in Waukegan, Illinois, who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald T. Berna; her parents, Minnie Sullivan and Leo Sullivan; and her brother John. She is survived by: her children, Katherine, Janice Finke (Richard), Tom (Kathleen) and Greg (Cydni); her grandchildren, Neil Finke (Laura), Helen Finke, Brittany Gonzalez (Daniel), Adam Finke, Clay Berna and Sage Berna; and her great grandchild Wyatt Finke.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (215 Thomas More Dr, Elgin, IL 60123).
