He is survived by: his children, Janet Lynn Avampato, Joseph Avampato (Sarah), Margaret Avampato and Joyce Koch (Robert); his daughter-in-law Judy Avampato; and his brothers, Samuel Joseph Avampato and Joseph Richard Avampato. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
