He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Doherty and Constance Doherty; his siblings, Patrick, Daniel and Kathleen; and his niece Leslie Doherty.
He is survived by: his wife Kimberly M. Johnson; his children, Eric Doherty and Tricia Hudgens (Robert); and his grandchildren, Luc, Maya, Zoe, Clara and Lola. He is also survived by his three brothers and four sisters.
