He is survived by: his wife Katharina; his children, Graciela Thalacker (Bradley), Caroline Oswald (Douglas Rockar), Irene Oswald and Joseph Oswald (Kris); his sisters, Berta Stuermer and Ingrid Oswald; his grandchildren, Josef Oswald (Peyten) and Alicia Oswald; his stepgrandsons, Anthony Hernandez (Ashley) and Dominic Hernandez; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Lily Hernandez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
