It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lola Louise Boettcher of Elgin, Illinois, born in Belvidere, Illinois, who passed away on June 20, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Billy Charles and Hazel Louise Thornsberry (Mitchell); and her boyfriend Julian Sanchez. She is survived by: her daughters, Amy Boettcher, Angela Lannefeld (Matt) and Stephanie Bebar (Ryan); her grandson Jaxon Lannefeld; and her siblings, Marion Thornberry, Ed Thornberry, Chuck Thornsberry, Ray Thornberry and Charlene Wentzel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Elmwood Cemetery (901 S Cross St, Sycamore, IL 60178).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family.
