Though Marilyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cole and Anna Cole; and her sister Mary Rita Cole. She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Schramm (Lee) of Elgin, IL and Michele "Shelly" DeSantis-Thill (Mark) of Gilbert, AZ; her grandchildren, Zachary DeSantis, Jacob DeSantis (Ashley) and Sienna Rose DeSantis (Timothy); her great grandchild Gianna Lee Cahill; and her siblings, Barbara Sypek and Gerard Cole (Maryann) of Utica, NY..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (215 Thomas More Dr, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
