He was predeceased by: his mother Nilda Rosario Méndez; and his parents-in-law, Esperanza Aviña and Candido Hernández. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Marcus Torres (Amanda) of Rockwall, TX and Jordan Torres of Kenosha, WI; his granddaughters, Bella Torres and Thalia Torres; his siblings, Sylvia Camacho, Joseph Camacho (Priscila) and Ricardo Camacho (Esther); his brothers-in-law, Candido Higareda (Vanessa) and Jose Higareda (Margaret); his godchildren, Angelica Aviña Yee and Jacob Sanchez; and his caregivers, Nicholas Perez and Janelle Mathisen.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 6:15 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123).
