It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Hummell (Elgin, Illinois), who passed away on July 10, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Patricia farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Patricia is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Sours and Mariette Sours; and her husband Merle K. Hummell Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Marlon Hummell and Marcia McCloud (Scott); her grandchildren, Aja Ferguson (Bryon), Lisa McClintock (Jay), Ashley McCloud and Sunni Hummell; and her great grandchildren, Lexie, Jason McClintock, Kayleigh and Colton Ferguson.
