It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Samaras (Elgin, Illinois), who passed away on October 25, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samaras and Evdoxia Shutkas Samaras; his wife Susan J. Atkinson Samaras; and his siblings, William Samaras and Lillian Katsiamakis.

He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Samaras (Martin Mingl) and Tommy Samaras (Jaime); his grandchildren, Tommy, Tyler, Amanda and Trace; and his sister Joanne Farsalas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Covid-19 guidelines will be followed and masks will be required.
