It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rachel Luna Pedroza of Elgin, Illinois, born in Cotulla, Texas, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melecio Luna and Trinidad Garza Luna; and her husband David Barbosa. She is survived by: her children, Marisa Pedroza Stephens (Kelley), Annabelle Rubio (Jose), Sarah Barbosa and David Barbosa Jr.; her siblings, Ismael Luna, Rosaura Gavin (Terrance), Raul Luna (Stephanie) and Anna Franco; and her grandchildren, Anthony, Damion, Larissa, Mariah, Alissa, Sergio, Clarissa, Alinah, Aliana, Elijah, Jacob, Nathan and Jalissa. She is also survived by one great-grandchild on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
