She is survived by: her husband Joe Billups; her children, Raphal Dee Spates of Elgin, IL, JoAnn Taylor (Eric) of Chicago, IL, Daphne Newsom of Chicago, IL, Ronnie Spates of Elgin, IL, Kevin Spates (Antoinette) of Zion, IL, Everett Spates (Sonia) of San Antonio, TX and Steve Billups (Linda) of Buford, GA; her siblings, Ruby Snowden of Milwaukee, WI, Ora Kefale (Mikerew) of Knoxville, TN, Ruth Hodges (James) of Knoxville, TN, Ivory Snowden of Milwaukee, WI and DeWitt Cole (Pearl) of Knoxville, TN; her grandchildren, Roman Wood, Ryan Wood, Christopher Baum, Kevin Spates Jr. (Mann), Kenita Spates, Yvonne Spates, Everett Spates Jr., Sparkle Spates, Phillip Spates, Eric Taylor Jr., Ashley D. Taylor and Dedzra Leonard King; and her extended family, Jeanette McKinstry, Lea Vasquez, Giovanni Vasquez, Armanii Vasquez and Loyal Vasquez. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
