He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Genz and Margaret Genz; and his sister Marilyn "Mamie" Genz. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine "Jeri" Hedblade; his sons, Rick Genz (Melissa) and Ryan Genz (Jane); his grandchildren, Justin, Jared (Stephanie), Madelyn, Andrew and Joshua; and his great grandchild Emersyn.
