We bid farewell to Richard T. Tornberg of Elgin, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 27, 2025 at the age of 79. Richard T. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Tornberg and Dorothy Tornberg (Granquist); his sister Marie Boardman; and his sister-in-law Shirley Tornberg. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Brundige); his son Carl (Heidi) of Elgin; his grandsons, Aaron and Ethan; his brother Kenneth of Ohio; and his brother-in-law David Boardman of Wisconsin. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Geneva Lutheran Church (301 S 3rd St, Geneva, IL 60134). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Geneva Lutheran Church at 301 S. 3rd Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134 would be appreciated.
