It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Scott Gillman of Elgin, Illinois, born in McHenry, Illinois, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Robert "Dean" Gillman and Miriam McGuire Gillman; his siblings, Brad Gillman and Janean "Jani" Gillman; his son Dylan Robert Gillman; his nephews, Bryce and Nolan Rogers; his aunt Margaret "Aunt Snookie" McGuire Franzen; and also Megan Gillman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, directed to Laird Funeral Home, 310 S. State St., Elgin, Ill., 60123. The memorial donations will be used to set up a fund for Dylan's future education expenses.
