She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pieczynski and Helen Pieczynski (Follmer); her husband Dan; her son Michael; and her sisters, Terry Baranowski and Dorothy Fuss.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Juntunen of Elgin, Mary Cheek (Gene) of North Carolina and Judy Plazyk of Wyoming; her granddaughters, Jennifer Shundich (Andy) and Alyson Mack; and her great grandchildren, Asher and Rosalie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Laird Funeral Home (310 S State St, Elgin, IL 60123). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Laurence Catholic Church (225 Jewett St, Elgin, IL 60123).
Memorial contributions in Rose's honor may be made to St. Laurence Catholic Church.
